Bashford 41 is one of the small successful cruiser racer series of Bashford Howinson yachts (then known as Sydney Yachts) designed by Murray, Burns and Dovel in 1994. These yachts dominated the international racing circuit in the mid 90’ winning the fastnet race the Sydney Hobart and the Copa del Rey. Bashford 41 is the ex "AERA" yacht that has won the Rolex Sydney Hobart Race. It is still a very competitive boat and it is set up for cruising too.
